Meet Christine M
Christine is CAPPA trained postpartum doula who has supported families, infants, and children in many capacities for over 30 years. She is loved by the children and families who she has supported and enjoys the many lifelong friendships and connections that she has created.
Prior to her career as a doula, Christine ran an in-home daycare, she provided private childcare, and was a Lead teacher in the infant and toddler room at a public childcare center.
Christine has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently working on her Master of Social Work. Throughout her education, it has always been her goal to provide parents and their children with the tools, support, education, and infrastructure essential to navigate challenges from pregnancy to early childhood care. Having experienced it herself as a mother, she knows well that this period in a parent’s and child’s life is one of the most emotional and impactful portions of their journeys – and one that is too often overlooked or underserved. She is honored to be a resource for parents and a helping hand through this time.
Her love for children and families is what has motivated her in all of her careers with families. She has a passion for working alongside new parents and their children to create happy and healthy memories. She believes in a strength based approach to life and to everything that she does.
When not supporting families, Christine enjoys taking her dog for walks, playing with her cat, and fluid art painting. She enjoys spending time with her two adult children and her partner cooking, playing games, watching tv, laughing and enjoying life.
