Chicago Family Doulas is a private company. Many of our clients are able to receive reimbursement from major insurance carriers. At this time, we do not accept Medicaid.

1. Select a doula.
2. Pay the invoice we provide (we will format the invoice according to typical insurance requirements).
3. Submit the paid invoice to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

As of January 1, 2026, all major insurance companies in Illinois are required to reimburse for doula services. Coverage amounts vary by plan. Because we are not medical providers, we are unable to bill insurance directly.
