Meet your doula
Birth and postpartum doulas from our 400+ team will be in the room — no scripts, no sales pressure, just face-to-face conversation about your due date, your worries, and what kind of support fits your family.
A morning of softness, flowers, and good conversation — for expecting parents who want to meet their doula team in person before the baby arrives.
Six small reasons to come — and one big one: meet the doulas who'll be by your side before you ever need them.
Birth and postpartum doulas from our 400+ team will be in the room — no scripts, no sales pressure, just face-to-face conversation about your due date, your worries, and what kind of support fits your family.
Some of our favorite Chicago partners will be on hand to share how they can support your family — come ready to connect and ask the questions you've been Googling at 2am.
The Bloom Bar by La Casa Flores LLC. Pick your stems, your style, your color story — take it home as the prettiest reminder of a Saturday well spent.
A morning Grazing Table with breakfast bites, fresh fruit, and beverages. Pregnancy-friendly, partner-friendly, and yes — there will be coffee.
Our in-house pregnancy photo booth with a wall of soft, on-brand props. Props are provided — or bring your own (an ultrasound photo, a stuffed animal). Photos are printed to take home and sent to you digitally.
Doula service discounts, all-access class passes, and donated gifts. You must be present to win — but if you're already coming, you're already in.
Pop by for ten minutes or stay the full three hours. The Bloom Bar is open all morning, our doulas are here to chat, the photo booth runs throughout, and the raffle is drawn at the end.
Build a bouquet, grab a bite, and stay for the conversation. Bring your partner. Bring questions. The doulas have answers.
Real reviews from real Chicago families. These are the doulas you'll meet on June 20.
I called Anna when my night help became unreliable, and Anna saved the day. Within 24 hours, I had night help secured — and her team were not only able to give my husband and I some sleep, they were resources full of knowledge every new parent can use.
We were lucky enough to work with 3 doulas in our son's first year. The quality of care has been top notch. Annamarie always manages to quickly match families with her network — we love that the organization handles all the scheduling, billing, everything.
It was amazing to go to bed at 8 and wake up at 6 with clean laundry, cooked food in the fridge, dishes done, and a baby who was well cared for all night there to greet me. A great investment for my mental health and sanity.
Plainly stated: we could NOT have survived having twins without the postpartum care and support we received. Letting us sleep through the night — especially as I was recovering from a C-section — was the most valuable gift we could have gotten.
Our doula was very experienced in postpartum care for both mom and baby. She knew exactly what to do, always took the initiative, and was just a wonderful person to have around. The way Annamarie handled the scheduling and billing was seamless.
After some tough delivery complications I knew I would need extra help. We called them the day before I was discharged, and they had someone at our house the next day as soon as we got home from the hospital. Our first weeks home were so much less stressful.
Yes. No ticket fee, no cover, no surprise charges. Pop in, mingle, build a bouquet, enter the raffle, and leave whenever — it's our gift to Chicago's expecting families. Raffle prizes are generously donated.
Yes, please. RSVPs help us plan the right amount of breakfast bites, prizes, and bouquet supplies. Capacity is limited and we'd hate to turn anyone away at the door. Quick form, takes less than a minute.
Partners absolutely — we encourage it. The photo booth is a partner moment. Older kids are welcome too; just know it's an adult-conversation morning so they may get bored. Strollers fit easily through the venue.
Not even a little. The earlier you meet your doula, the more they can support you through pregnancy, birth prep, and postpartum. Most of our families book us in the second or third trimester — meeting in person now is the easiest first step.
Both birth doulas and postpartum doulas from our 400+ team — including overnight and live-in newborn-care specialists. You'll get to ask questions face-to-face and find out who fits your family.
Yes — we're in-network with all three employer benefit platforms. If your workplace covers doula care through any of them, we can walk you through how to use it. Bring your benefits card or just the name of the platform and we'll take it from there.
We're sorry to miss you! Our intake team is available year-round at chicagofamilydoulas.com/contact — same warm conversation, just over Zoom or the phone instead of in person.
The last Baby in Bloom filled the room. This one's smaller, warmer, and ours. We'd love to meet you.
