Meet your doula
Birth and postpartum doulas from our team of over 400 doulas will walk you through what to expect with having the support of a doula, answer any questions, and talk you through what kind of support fits your family.
An evening of mocktails, treats, and good conversation for expecting parents who want to meet their doula team in person before the baby arrives.
Six small reasons to come. And one big one: meet the doulas who'll be by your side before you ever need them.
Birth and postpartum doulas from our team of over 400 doulas will walk you through what to expect with having the support of a doula, answer any questions, and talk you through what kind of support fits your family.
Our local partners will be on hand to share how they can support your family, including Expecting Together, a clinician-led prenatal education and community program that helps expecting couples prepare for birth while building friendships with other local families due around the same time.
The Mocktail Bar by Abu Sauce: gourmet mocktail syrups crafted in Chicago. Pick your flavor and build your drink.
An evening Lite Bites Table with treats from Noelle's Bakery: macarons, sweet and savory bites, and pregnancy friendly beverages. Partners welcome too.
Our on site photo booth by Photobooth Printz: soft, on brand props. Props are provided, or bring your own (an ultrasound photo, a stuffed animal). Photos are printed to take home and sent to you digitally.
Raffles drawn every hour: doula service discounts, all access class passes, and donated gifts. You must be present to win, but if you're already coming, you're already in.
Pop by for ten minutes or stay the full three hours. The mocktail bar is open all evening, our doulas are here to chat, the photo booth runs throughout, and raffles are drawn every hour.
Grab a mocktail, sample a treat, and stay for the conversation. Bring your partner. Bring questions. The doulas have answers.

Yes. No ticket fee, no cover, no surprise charges. Pop in, grab a mocktail, enter the raffle, and leave whenever. It's our gift to Chicago's expecting families. Raffle prizes are generously donated.
Yes, please. RSVPs help us plan the right amount of mocktails, treats, and raffle supplies. Capacity is limited and we'd hate to turn anyone away at the door. Quick form, takes less than a minute.
Partners absolutely. We encourage it. The photo booth is a partner moment. Older kids are welcome too; just know it's an adult conversation evening so they may get bored. Strollers fit easily through the venue.
Not even a little. The earlier you meet your doula, the more they can support you through pregnancy, birth prep, and postpartum. Most of our families book us in the second or third trimester, meeting in person now is the easiest first step.
Both birth doulas and postpartum doulas from our 400+ team, including overnight and live in newborn care specialists. You'll get to ask questions face to face and find out who fits your family.
Yes. We work with families who have all three of these workplace benefits, and we will work with you to navigate being reimbursed. Bring the name of your platform and we'll take it from there.
We're sorry to miss you! Our intake team is available year round at chicagofamilydoulas.com/contact. Same warm conversation, just over Zoom or the phone instead of in person.
