Meet Antonia
Antonia is a DONA trained postpartum doula and an infant development specialist on our team. Using her extensive knowledge and background in child development, she provides families with evidence-based information, skills, and support related to all things postpartum, infant development, and newborn care. Families describe her as patient, calm, and empathetic. She enjoys supporting families with singletons, as well as busier households with older siblings. She specializes in both overnight and daytime care.
Prior to doula work, Antonia has supported children and families in a variety of ways throughout her career. She has experience as an assistant toddler teacher, a therapeutic assistant (supporting children 3-5 years with developmental differences), a developmental therapy intern (supporting children 0-3 years with developmental differences), as well as nannying. Antonia received her BS in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and her MS in Child Development with an Infancy Concentration from the Erikson Institute.
With her background in working with children with developmental delays and disabilities, Antonia also provides support to infants and families with unique developmental needs and helps with the transition of bringing a new baby home to older siblings.
Being a strong and caring support to families as they transition home with their little one is a strong passion of hers. She looks forward to taking the very best care of your family.
