Meet Bitanya
Bitanya is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula on our team. She enjoys supporting families with singletons as well as busier families. She jumps right in and helps in all the ways needed, and is known for being incredibly kind and proactive. Families also describe her as compassionate and empathetic.
She has a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, which creates a strong foundation to her role as a doula. She understands physical, emotional, and cognitive developmental stages, which allows her to address the unique needs and challenges of pregnant individuals and new families, as well as the developmental needs of infants. Prior to doula work, she was a crisis counselor and a teacher in an early childhood learning center.
Growing up, Bitanya took an active role in helping raise her two younger brothers. She has loved supporting families ever since!
When Bitanya isn’t supporting families, she loves spending time with her own friends and family, knitting and crocheting, and listening to a good podcast!
