Meet Brianna N.

Brianna is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula on our team. She loves supporting families to ensure that they have a positive postpartum experience as they welcome their little one into their household. She knows this time can be incredibly stressful, and she makes the process as relaxing and smooth as possible. Families describe her as flexible, eager, task oriented, and calm while under pressure. She supports families with singletons, busier families both during daytime and overnight. She jumps in and helps with all that is needed; baby care, routines, chores, errands, sibling care, as well caring for mom. Brianna also has experience with supporting families with feeding choices for babies. She confidently supports families who breastfed, strictly pump, and utilize formula. She eases any mother when they are finding the choices in which way to feed their baby. She loves helping mothers bond with their baby and focus on recovery during this new season of life.

Prior to doula work, Brianna supported families as a nanny and worked in a daycare. She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies. The experiences in her own motherhood journey made her very passionate about doula work. She did not have a doula with her first born and having a birth doula with her second was a game changer. She knows she would have greatly benefited from postpartum care during her own postpartum journey. She is so grateful that as a postpartum doula, she is able to bring peace to new families and to those who are adding more kiddos to the sibling size. She loves supporting moms as they gain confidence and she enjoys making sure they are well rested, and feeling bonded during this season.

 When Brianna isn’t supporting families, she loves to exercise, read, make crafts and practice the piano. She also loves to spend time with her two daughters. Gardening is also at the top of her hobbies list!
