Meet Brittany P.
Brittany is an amazing postpartum doula who trained with both the Simkin Center at Bastyr University and DONA. Her approach to doula work comes from the understanding that we all arrive at this transition with different experiences, histories, traumas, triumphs, circumstances, and bodies. She has a deep understanding that every family’s needs are unique, and her ultimate goal is to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered.
She loves helping first time families adjust and gain confidence and she also enjoys helping families who are adding to an already busy home in all the ways needed. Providing each family with peace of mind is so important to her. The goal is to be a source of guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance.
Like many in this field, her call to this work came from a passion for nurturing and helping others. Through family and friends she had the pleasure of witnessing the challenges and joys that come with welcoming a new life into the world, and became acutely aware of the crucial need for support during the postpartum period. It is from these moments that my commitment to this work blossomed.
Her family centered approach is the perfect fit for all families.
