“I highly recommend using Chicago Family Doulas! Anna matched us with Bryn and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Bryn is readily available for questions, big or small, and is very knowledgeable of the labor, birth and postpartum stages. Our birth plan changed after finding out our baby was breech and she quickly shared lots of valuable resources, and provided emotional support through the change. She also helped me work through breastfeeding challenges through FaceTime and in person visits – I honestly would not have gotten through it without her. Bryn is knowledgeable, warm, and confident, and we are so grateful to have had her by our side through this life changing time! Thank you!”

“Hiring a doula was the best thing I did for myself during my pregnancy. Bryn was a wealth of knowledge, and I learned that just from our first “interview.” It was so welcoming to have someone to talk to that didn’t think I was crazy for the experience I wanted to have while giving birth. She will support you in any way you decide medicated or non. Although I mentally prepped myself that I would be in labor for hours, to my surprise Bruno had quicker plans! Bryn met us at the hospital and she was amazing! My contractions were coming so quick it was hard for me to speak while checking in and getting through the hospital. She was the voice I needed for the staff to know the plan I was hoping to stick to for birth. She was courteous and calm with the nurses and doctors the entire time. Thanks to Bryn I felt confident about childbirth as a first time mom and will now recommend doula’s to all my friends!”

“We loved having Bryn be a part of our birth story. She put my mind at ease offering resources and answering any questions I had regarding what a doula does. She continuously checked in with me throughout my pregnancy. It is hard to explain but going into labor I was just more relaxed and less anxious about the experience. During labor she was able to give my husband a little bit of a break and helped with breathing (yes, even if you have an epidural). After the birth she helped with breastfeeding and was attentive to my needs, making sure I ate and had water. Even after she left the hospital she continued to check in with us. Bryn was so wonderful. I am truly grateful to her for being there for us. She truly cares about you and your family.”

“Bryn was the perfect combination of warmth, compassion, and professionalism that we did not know we needed for the birth of our son. She was a trusted confidant throughout pregnancy and postpartum. I truly feel like my birth would not have been as smooth and supported without Bryn there. She was proactive and anticipated needs during labor before anyone else in the room.”

“Hiring Bryn to be our doula was 100% the best investment I made for my family. I cannot stop telling anyone who will listen how transformative it was to have her as our doula. If you are questioning if you should take the plunge and hire her I suggest you stop and dive right in as she will be there to support you the entire way.”

“I cannot recommend Bryn highly enough! I was on the fence about hiring a doula but once I met Bryn, the decision was obvious. Bryn is supportive, knowledgeable, and passionate about caring for women, partners, babies, and families. She brought a lighthearted humor to everything when that was appropriate and also served as a literal rock of support as needed, too. She put both me and my husband at ease, and she was endlessly patient throughout a few days (!!) of labor. Having Bryn in our corner throughout pregnancy and birth was 100% the best decision.”

“Bryn was gentle, kind, listened and was truly engaged with our baby. She is a mother herself and this fact shined through as her nurturing techniques helped all of us so much. Her knowledge helped us, even being seasoned veterans 😉 We are forever thankful for Bryn!”

“Bryn was our daughter’s night doula/nurse from August 2020-October 2020. She started the night after we came home from the hospital. As first-time parents, she helped us tremendously. Her help was invaluable! My husband works extremely long hours with no days off during certain months of the year. I could not have gotten through the first couple of months without Bryn’s help and support. I felt comforted and confident that my daughter was in the best hands while I rested. She not only took amazing care of my daughter but she would check on me- making sure I was healing well, staying hydrated, and answered any questions I had. She would recommend products and techniques that made my life easier and my baby happier. Every night, Bryn would journal when my daughter was changed, when she would eat, sleep and any other important information. It was comforting knowing that someone was watching my daughter sleep and taking care of her needs while I was sleeping and healing. I appreciated that Bryn gave advice but never pushed parenting styles. She is extremely patient, knowledgeable and has a true passion for her career. Bryn truly cares about the babies and families she works with. She would check in with us even on her nights off. She takes initiative and wants the make life easier for parents. She even did extra things for us when she had time- like cook breakfast and prep and bake veggies. I would look forward to the nights Bryn worked. I would highly recommend Bryn to anyone. She really helped me adjust to life with a newborn. My family feels lucky to have found such a trustworthy, caring and calming person who made a huge impact on our family.”
