Meet Cam J.
Cam is a compassionate CAPPA trained postpartum doula on our team who has 12 years of experience caring for infants and young children. Cam brings a wealth of knowledge and a calm, supportive presence to families navigating the postpartum period. Cam has supported families with multiple children, including newborns, preemies, and children with special needs. This diverse background has honed Cam’s ability to adapt to various family dynamics and support families with a wide range of needs.
As a non-binary individual, Cam brings a unique perspective and first-hand understanding of the joys and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ families. This personal experience, combined with their professional background working with queer families, makes Cam an exceptional choice for LGBTQ+ parents seeking inclusive and understanding postpartum care.
Cam is particularly knowledgeable and passionate about babywearing and takes joy in teaching parents safe techniques to promote bonding while allowing for hands-free mobility. Their expertise in this area is just one example of the practical, family-centered support they provide.
When Cam isn’t supporting families you will find her outdoors, reading, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
