Meet Carolyn

Carolyn is a well-loved labor and postpartum doula trained and certified through Sokana Collective. As a postpartum doula she has experience supporting families with both daytime and overnight care and she specializes in families who have multiple children and have busy households.  She loves providing peace of mind to busy families, supporting them in all the ways, so they can turn busy homes into comfortable nurturing environments. She will jump in and help with laundry, dishes, straightening up, organizing and keeping things tidy.  She loves connecting with families and being a source of emotional support, patience, and encouragement. She is very hands on and happy to care for baby and other siblings so the adults can rest and have time.

Carolyn became passionate about birth, postpartum and wellness after having a doula support with her first.  She realized the impact that doulas can be during this incredible and important time. She spent 8 years in Florida learning about holistic wellness and then expanded her knowledge with becoming a birth and postpartum Doula.  She loves bringing this knowledge into her work as a doula.

In Carolyn’s free time she enjoys spending time with her four children, trying new restaurants in the city and finding hidden gems of Chicago with friends.
