Meet Cecilia

Cecilia is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula on our team. She utilizes a family-centered approach when caring for families. She supports the entire family, and is experienced supporting families with singletons as well as busier households. Families describe her as a gentle and kind soul. She jumps in wherever needed and helps ease the transition into parenthood.

Prior to doula work, Cecilia supported families as a nanny, she worked with children as a teacher’s assistant, and she spent the last three years as a Certified Child Life Specialists in an ICU setting. She has supported a wide range of families in a healthcare setting, particularly in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. She has worked with typical developing children as well as atypical, blended families, same-sex families, and families with different cultural backgrounds. She is also bi-lingual and speaks Spanish!

When Cecilia isn’t supporting families, she enjoys exercising, reading a good book or spending time with family and friends.
