Meet Constance
Constance is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula on our team. As a doula she takes a special interest in psychology and philosophy, and supports parents with stress management, offering encouragement, and helping in all the ways needed as they settle in with their newborn. Families describe her as attentive, efficient, and positive. She extends kindness and respect to the children and adults she supports.
Prior to doula work, Constance was a nanny and tutor for elementary and middle-school aged children. Supporting families is a natural fit for her. She considers herself in tune with babies, and having a knack for strengthening self-confidence in mothers.
Constance has personal experience with nursing and raising children. She has two children, both were delivered as water-births with midwives. Her experience through pregnancy, delivery and the infant stages of her children were so transformative. She is incredibly supportive of other mothers and the path they choose to raising their family. She offers nonjudgmental support and is keenly aware and appreciative of every family’s individuality. She understands the complexity of every mom’s unique situation.
When Constance isn’t supporting families, she enjoys spending time with her own. She is also a flutist, painter, and composer.
