Meet Cymone

Cymone is a birth and postpartum doula on our team, she is also a newborn care specialist. She absolutely loves nurturing infants and supporting families. She has been supporting families as a doula and newborn care specialist for over 7 years, and prior to that has spent 16 years as a professional career nanny. She made a deliberate shift into birth and postpartum work in 2015, allowing her to bring a wealth of expertise to every client she serves.

Cymone’s journey into birth and postpartum work was deeply influenced by her own personal experience of loss. She has health wtih the heartbreaking challenge of miscarriage. This life-altering event awakened within her a profound sense of empathy and understanding for the emotional complexities surrounding birth and the postpartum period. It has fueled her commitment to provide compassionate care and unwavering support to families navigating their own journeys of joy and healing.

As a birth doula, she has experience supporting all birth choices, whether it is in a hospital, birth center, or home birth. She believes in empowering families to make informed decisions that align with their unique values and desires. Her goal as a birth doula is to provide unwavering support and guidance throughout the birthing process, ensuring that each family’s experience is as positive and empowering as possible.

As a postpartum doula, she knows this time is so important and can be very stressful in a new family’s life. Her goal is to make the process as calm and stress-free as possible by supporting the entire family. She loves busy households and also families with singletons. She loves helping families find their groove as they navigate parenthood.
