Meet Danielle M.

Danielle M. is a certified full spectrum doula, trained through Jamaa Birth Village. She has years of experience caring for infants and small children. She loves supporting families though pregnancy, birth and postpartum.  She enjoys building relationships with families to help maintain a peaceful, positive environment.

Danielle pursued postpartum work to make a difference in the community and nurture families through the transition of having a new baby. She understands that every family has different needs and loves to support families exactly where they are. She always enjoys going above and beyond to make sure they are fully supported.

Her passion for birth work began in her Master’s program while completing a group project focused on the high rate of maternal mortality for Black women. She was already passionate about this field as it aligned with her passion for the wellbeing of children and families, as well as, disparate communities.  This led her to pursue a career in healthcare administration.

Families would describe Danielle as energetic, reliable, comforting, and an overall joy to be around and feels like a part of their family.

When she is not working, Danielle enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, discovering new places to eat around the city, being active, and snuggling up on the couch with her dog to watch a good movie.
