Meet Deneen H.

Deneen is a compassionate and trained postpartum doula and a certified birth doula through the International Doula Institute. With a background that blends nursing, counseling, and family therapy, she brings unique knowledge to supporting families through the transformative journey of childbirth and early parenthood. 

As a postpartum doula, she thoroughly enjoys supporting families in their transition home and making it as smooth and easy as possible for the entire family. She can help families create effective routines that will be able to ease the anxiety and stress of the day-to-day tasks. She has experience with new families, as well as families with multiple children. 

As a birth doula, Deneen brings a calm and reassuring presence to the labor and delivery room. Her nursing background gives her a unique understanding of hospital terminology allowing her to effectively bridge the gap between medical staff and her families. Deneen has supported various types of birth from natural, unmedicated deliveries, and medicated births. She loves supporting families to feel empowered and cared for during this important and transformative life event. 

When not supporting families, you will find her enjoying her favorite shows, reading, writing, or spending time with her friends and family.
