Meet Elizabeth B.

24/7 live in newborn care chicago

Elizabeth is a BADT trained birth and postpartum doula on our team who has 15+ years of experience working with many diverse families through nannying, nursery work, and teaching. She supports first time parents, families with multiples, as well as busier households adding to their family. She loves supporting families with daytime and overnight care.

She provides guidance, empowerment, and practical assistance in whatever capacity needed. Families value her attention to detail, willingness to jump right into the routines and rhythms of the family as well as her ability to simply listen without judgment. She is attentive to the unique needs and goals of each family she works with, believing and embodying the value of building relationships to foster the best care possible. Families love her support and describe her as kind, compassionate, and non-judgmental.

Elizabeth has a degree from Grand Valley State University in communication and women and gender studies with a focus on body positivity and honoring the body as well as a Master’s degree focused on child advocacy and racial justice. Through this work and her own life experiences, Elizabeth understands this transformative time for families comes with a multitude of different experiences, histories, circumstances, and more. She creates a safe and inclusive space filled with respect, understanding, empowerment, and where people feel heard and honored.

Elizabeth believes whether a family is starting the beautiful journey of parenthood for the first time or adding to their family, this journey is made even more enriching with love, support, and care.
