Meet Erica H.

Erica is a highly trained Maternity Concierge professional, postpartum and live-in doula, as well as a Certified Newborn Care Specialist. Prior to supporting families as a doula she spent 25 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, 8 years as a infant aide in a daycare center, 9 years as a full-time nanny and 5 years as a Newborn Care Specialist. Over the last 3 years she has spent most of her time as a 24/7 Newborn Care Specialist working with surrogates, first time parents, twins, micro-preemies and newborns needing medical care such as oxygen, and ng feeding’s. She is proficient in quickly assimilating into diverse households and cultivating friendly relationships with families while ensuring their well-being. Her career contributions have led her to a passion for supporting newborns and families.

Erica promotes a safe, innovative, flexible, compassionate, and family-focused environment: she is background screened and certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, BLS, and trained in Neonatal Resuscitation. Families describe Erica as professional, compassionate, respectful, and loving. 

When Erica isn’t supporting families, she enjoys spending time with her own. She is a mother of 3 (all one year apart) and a grandmother of 6.
