Meet Erin

Erin is a Madriella certified birth and postpartum doula on our team. She is also a certified breastfeeding counselor through International Doula Institute. Her desire to become involved in birth work began with her own empowering birth experiences: she was incredibly inspired by the wise women who supported her through each of her births.

As a birth and postpartum doula, Erin is passionate about helping families make their transition into parenthood the most joyful, peaceful, and positive experience possible. As a mother of seven, she is keenly aware that each pregnancy and postpartum experience is unique, and she is committed to supporting families and their individual goals and needs each step of the way. She enjoys supporting families with singletons and also with multiples. She is supportive of both medicated and unmedicated births. She enjoys supporting families in hospital settings, as well as in birth centers or at home.

Erin grew up in the far west suburbs and attended her first birth at age 14–a surprise unassisted birth of her younger sister, who now has a baby of her own. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, reading, gardening, and raising monarch butterflies.
