Meet Heather

Heather is a well-loved CAPPA postpartum doula who brings a wealth of both professional and personal experience to the families she supports. As the oldest of nine children, she has always known she was a natural nurturer. She loves being the oldest sibling and loved caring for her younger siblings. Becoming a postpartum doula was a natural transition for her.

Heather loves empowering parents as they bond with their baby and grow into their new roles. She enjoys cooking nourishing meals, assisting siblings as they integrate their new experiences with the baby, and providing guidance for families looking to create new systems and schedules as their family’s needs evolve. She has a deep understanding of what families require to thrive in this new role and thrive as a growing family.

Heather brings a sense of peace and calm into any room she enters. She holds space for parents to process their experiences and deeply understands the challenges that such a major life transition can bring. She feels honored to witness the precious postpartum season with each family she serves. She is a very experienced caregiver and families instantly feel this from her. She has over a decade of experience caring for families.

Heather has four children of her own and relishes the memories of postpartum and infant care, her favorite season of parenting in many ways. When she is not supporting families she enjoys spending time with her own family.
