Meet Isabella
Isabella is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula on our team. She is bilingual and her enjoys serving families through empathetic and traditional care. Her practice is evidence-based, holistic, and rooted in reproductive justice for all. Isabella is experienced supporting first time parents, those adjusting to a growing family, helping with a busy household, and daytime and overnight care. As a postpartum doula, she likes to stay busy by always jumping in and helping in all the ways needed without having to be asked. Families describe her as compassionate, loving, and grounded.
Isabella’s own birth is what really drove her to pursing a career as a doula. She knows how important the 4th trimester is for new families and how much supporting is needed, especially during this vulnerable and life-changing time. The newborn phase is such a special and precious time: she is so grateful to be a part of that with the families she supports. Prior to becoming a doula, she was a nanny for over five years.
When Isabella isn’t supporting families, she is spending time with her 3 year old, visiting different museums/parks, or having ceremonies/performing with her Danza group (she is an Aztec dancer).
