Meet Johnnie

Johnnie is a postpartum doula on our team who is certified with ProDoula. She is incredibly hands-on and loves to jump in wherever needed. She helps mothers with breastfeeding, helps with singletons, as well has families with busier households and older children. She loves helping with cooking, cleaning, and meal prep. She knows this can be such a challenging and stressful time in a family’s life, and her role is to always ease the transition and make it as smooth as possible. Families describe her as helpful, loving, and very knowledgable.

Johnnie is a mother herself with three children, one delivered in the hospital and two home births. She first learned about postpartum care when she was pregnant with her third. Postpartum support changed her life and was so pivotal in her recovery that she fell in love with it. She is incredibly passionate about supporting other women and families with the same support she was given.

When Johnnie isn’t supporting other families, you can find her spending time with her own!
