Meet Joy

Joy is an incredibly experienced newborn care specialist on our team. She has been working in the child child care industry since 1993 after graduating NIU with her degree in Child Development. She spent many years working in child care centers in infant classrooms and eventually transitioned to being a full-time nanny.

As a newborn care specialist, she enjoys supporting newborns and young infants and helping families to adjust to their new baby. She also specializes in supporting families with multiples. She enjoys helping families get infants on a schedule, helping with sleep issues, supporting moms in their breastfeeding journey, and helping older siblings adjust to their new role. She has worked with babies who have acid reflux, low muscle tone, Hirschbrung’s disease, as well as speech delays and feeding issues.

In her free time, Joy loves spending time her husband, cooking with family and friends, hanging out by a fire, seeing movies and most importantly laughing as much as possible.
