Meet Jules R.

Jules is a warm and kind Birth and Baby University Postpartum Doula on our team. She supports families who have singletons, multiples and busy households. She supports families during the daytime, evenings and overnights with day to day tasks such as light housekeeping, meal prepping, being a listening ear, and providing the families the ability to take some time for self care. Jules strives to help foster the connection between parents and their little ones, helping them grow confidence and find their voice and style as parents. She takes pride in being a strong support for every family including a safe support for LGTBQ+ families.
Jules has been described by families as proactive, helpful, kind, down to earth, and someone who has strong communication skills, ensuring that every family feels seen and heard. She can go with the flow, and can easily pivot when needs or plans change at a moment’s notice. Families also love her strong advocacy skills which not only build that level of trust within the doula/family relationship, but it also helps them learn to be the best advocates they can be for themselves and their family.
Prior to doula work Jules was a nanny for over 8 years supporting numerous families. She has also worked as a mentor, in home daycare settings as well as working in settings that support children who have developmental disabilities.
When Jules isn’t supporting families you will find her outside in nature, hosting board game nights, and spending time with animals.
