Meet Julisa C.

Julisa is a well loved passionate and dedicated labor and postpartum doula who received her advanced training from Gifted Hands International. 

Inspired by witnessing her mother’s childbirth experience Julisa has cultivated a deep interest in birth work and women’s health. She is currently pursuing a nursing degree with aspirations to become a labor and delivery nurse. Julisa brings a unique blend of evidence based information surrounding birth and postpartum, medical knowledge and compassionate support to her doula practice.

As a labor doula, Julisa has experience supporting families through a variety of birth scenarios, including vaginal births, cesarean births, VBACs, and both medicated and unmedicated deliveries in hospital settings. Her calm demeanor, reliability, and patience shine through in high-pressure situations, making her an invaluable asset to birthing families. Julisa is passionate about personalizing each birth experience, advocating for her clients’ wishes, and empowering families to make informed decisions.

As a postpartum doula, Julisa is kind, caring, supportive and goes above and beyond for the families she supports.  She wants all of her families to feel cared for, rested and confident as they navigate parenthood and she does all she can to help them achieve this. 

Beyond labor and postpartum support, Julisa is also certified in childbirth education and breastfeeding education, offering comprehensive care throughout the perinatal period. Her commitment to building strong relationships with families and her dedication to their well-being set her apart in the field. 

When not supporting families, Julisa enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and exploring the world of baking.
