Meet Kim
Kim is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula and began working as a postpartum doula in 2006. Over the past two decades, Kim has provided dozens of families with daytime, overnight, and weekend care of their most precious little ones. She has worked for many amazing families as a nanny and house manager. She enjoys working with and has experience with multiples, preemies, and children with special needs. She is an avid babywearer, Newborn Care Specialist, and “natural” caregiver, who is certified in Respectful Care for Newborns, Infants, and Toddlers.
In 2014, she received the title “Mama”, and began to bring her infant son to work with her as a nanny. As a nanny (and a mom), her goal is to help the children in her care develop into wholesome, adventurous, independent, peaceful and happy adults who will aspire to change the world.
As a postpartum doula, she enjoys teaching new parents and anticipating/caring for their needs. Kim enjoys mentoring young/new nannies and doulas, as well as staying up to date on the latest research on child development, psychology and sociology. Families love her expertise, kind heart and the sense of calm that she brings into each home.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband, 7 year old son, and 3 year old daughter in and around the Chicagoland area.
