Meet Kimberly B.

newborn care chicago

Kimberly is a nurturing certified Birth & Baby University Postpartum Doula. She provides high-quality, daytime infant-focused care. She works with families welcoming their first baby and families bringing a new addition to an already busy household. Kimberly assists with establishing healthy sleep routines and support in feeding, which includes nursing, pumping, and bottle feeding (with breastmilk and/or formula). She also enjoys helping educate older siblings on how to help care for their newest family addition. She enjoys being a strong support with all things including cooking, meal prepping, baby laundry, and tidying up the house.

Families love Kimberly’s ability to bring patience into every scenario, her strong communication skills, and her compassionate support. She strives to have tailored support for each family, which helps parents feel supported, cared for and empowered.

Before finding her passion for doula work, Kimberly supported families and children in various settings. She first supported youths in a residential center, providing mentorship and education. Then, she moved to the classroom, providing education and support to 3-5-year-olds.

Kimberly enjoys cooking and reading a good book when she isn’t supporting families.
