Meet Kristen W.
Kristen is a trained ProDoula postpartum doula with a background in nursing. Having supported over 50 families she has extensive experience working with preemies, NICU babies, twins, and singletons. She has provided both day and night support to a diverse range of families. Her professional, organized, calm, and compassionate approach is highly valued by families, who appreciate her non-judgmental care and the support she offers in their parenting choices.
She loves incorporating her nursing background to assess situations and recommend referrals when needed. Families love her deep knowledge and expertise.
She began her career offering overnight care to postpartum families and quickly realized the critical importance of a proper support system during those early weeks. This realization has driven her mission to make essential education and support accessible to families, ensuring they feel prepared, nourished, and empowered through their postpartum journey.
In addition to being a certified sleep consultant and certified nutrition consultant (prenatal and postpartum), Kristen’s experience as a nanny, traveling domestically and internationally with families, has made her incredibly organized, prepared, and adaptable to changes. As a mother of a one-year-old, she has personally experienced the rewards of motherhood and the importance of postpartum planning. She utilized her doula expertise during her pregnancy to ensure a successful postpartum period, which included arranging in-home lactation visits, preparing healing meals, and discussing postpartum plans with her husband.
Kristen loves caring for families and finds it an honor to be invited into the homes of the families she cares for and is dedicated to supporting them through the vulnerable postpartum period.
When not supporting families, Kristen enjoys getting out in nature, doing family bike rides, gardening, and exploring local parks.
