Meet Latisa H.

Latisa is a compassionate and experienced Gifted Hands International Certified Postpartum & Labor Doula on our team.  She offers comprehensive, compassionate and professional support to new families and tailors her care to each individual family.  She loves caring for the entire family and is a baby whisperer. She also is knowledgeable in helping families troubleshoot the tricker situations which can include lactation support and creating healthy routines to support families through sleep troubles. 

Lisa has over a decade of healthcare experience, which in combination with her own personal experiences led her to her career as a professional doula. 

She has supported many families through birth and postpartum and is truly honored to have supported every single one of the births of her grandbabies. She has experience in all birth settings and with medicated and unmedicated births. 

Families love how she creates a nurturing environment and makes them feel cared for and comfortable.  They also love her organization skills and her cooking abilities. 

When not supporting families, Latisa enjoys learning how to line dance, going to the gym and exploring new places.
