Meet Lindsey B.

Evanston doula northwestern prentice

Lindsey is a DONA trained birth and postpartum doula on our team. As a birth doula, Lindsey makes the pregnant person and support people feel empowered and in control. She uses evidence-based information to help her clients make decisions that are best for them. Lindsey advocates for her families and leaves families with a positive mindset surrounding their birth.

Lindsey’s background in reproductive sciences began during her PhD work, which focused on the impact of Zika virus on placental function. This experience opened Lindsey’s eyes to the beautiful complexity of pregnancy. As a lecturer at Northwestern University in the Center for Reproductive Science, Lindsey focuses on reproduction day in and day out. Her passions and interests lie in women’s health and pregnancy.

Families love her innate ability to connect and be in tune with them, her commitment to education and her kind heart.

When not supporting families, Lindsey enjoys spending days in the kitchen creating new concoctions or hanging out with her cats and husband.
