Meet Mari

Mari is a DONA trained postpartum doula on our team. She supports families with daytime and overnight care and also with single babies and multiples. She has cared for children and babies her entire life, and prior to doula work she was a professional nanny for 5 years. She has supported children from newborn to 12 years old and is experienced with newborn care, sibling care, getting siblings involved with helping mom, helping with chores, and giving parents some alone time during this transitional period. She also has a passion for cooking and meal/snack prepping for families.

Families describe Mari as nurturing and empathetic. She has always taken an interest with birth and babies; she believes supporting expecting and new families is her calling. She believes everyone can use some TLC but during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum; it is especially needed and cherished. Mari is also working on becoming certified as a birth doula as well as a placenta encapsulist.

Mari is also a mother to a 3 year old girl. Her daughter has increased her passion for life, love, humans, curiosity, and adventure. She understands how important it is to have support postpartum and is so grateful to help families during this time in their lives.

When Mari isn’t supporting families, she is a musician and writes music and performs with her partner. In the summer she loves to swim and relax at the beach.
