twin newborn care chicago

Michelle is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula who is dedicated to newborn care and postpartum health. Michelle has over 13 years of experience caring for children ages ranging from newborn to 14 years old. She is experienced in supporting families with singletons, as well as busier households. She is experienced with overnight and daytime support and she takes great pride in creating a safe and stimulating environment for families. She has a deep understanding of how households are run and confidently jumps in to support and take over all tasks such as meal prep, straightening up, laundry, caring for baby and caring for siblings. Families describe her as patient, caring and sincere.

Supporting and caring for mothers and their families during such a rewarding moment in life is something she is extremely passionate about. Prior to becoming a doula, Michelle was a nanny, counselor and dance teacher. She comes from a large family and has five god-children, all who she has helped care for. Her large family has helped her understand how both challenging and beautiful motherhood can be. She understands the importance of having a strong support system, and is grateful to provide that for the families she cares for.

Michelle is of Colombian descent, is fluent in Spanish and is willing to teach families the language. When she isn’t supporting families, she loves spending time with her family!
