Meet Miranda W.
Miranda is a compassionate and creative DONA trained Postpartum Doula on our team. Miranda’s journey into postpartum work was inspired by her own contrasting experiences as a new mother. Having navigated the fourth trimester both with and without doula support, she truly understands the profound impact that proper care can have on maternal mental health and a family’s overall happiness. This personal insight fuels her passion for being a vital part of a family’s support network during this crucial time.
Miranda has a background in early childhood education, and has been nurturing young minds since 2010. Her experience spans from leading pre-K classrooms to providing infant care, demonstrating her versatility and deep understanding of child development. Her unique perspective is further enhanced by her work as a music instructor for infant/caregiver classes and as an instructor for multigenerational art workshops.
As a mother of two, Miranda has personally navigated the challenges of breastfeeding and early parenthood. This firsthand experience, combined with her professional skills, allows her to provide empathetic and practical support to new families.
In her free time you’ll find her writing music, painting, reading or spending time with her family.
