Meet Rachael
Rachael is a well-loved labor and postpartum doula on our team. She completed her training through Madriella. She is also a childbirth educator, breastfeeding educator, and is certified in massage for the laboring woman. She has been working with children for over 10 years: she started off at a daycare, and then went on to nanny for multiple families.
Rachael’s passion for children branched out to doula work and she has been a doula since 2017. She also has her associate’s degree in child development, and a soon-to-be bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She also plans to get certified in other areas of doula work, such as: a young parent support specialist, and understanding developmental disabilities.
She lives by the quote “do something you love, and you never have to work a day in your life.” When she is supporting families as a doula, nothing in the world takes her attention from that. She loves to empower the families she supports in a positive way with zero judgment.
Rachael has no children of her own, but treats every family she supports as if they were her own. In her free time she loves to go shopping, be outdoors when it’s nice out, spend time boating at the lake, and using her Cricut to make different crafts.
Families describe her as calm, confident, compassionate, caring and willing to help in every way.
