Meet Rachel B.

newborn care chicago

Rachel is a dedicated and compassionate DONA Trained Labor & Postpartum Doula. Her clients appreciate her meticulous attention to detail, kindness, and the genuine compassion she brings to her work, qualities that make her both a trusted professional and a cherished member of their extended family.

In Postpartum Support Rachel has supported families with lactation support, nutrition, baby wearing, and infant sleep. She loves supporting families as they gain their footing and establish positive routines. Families love how gentle and kind she is with their baby and their family.

In Labor she has supported families with various comfort measure techniques, as well as, helping families understand the options and choices that they have for their birth. She supports births in all settings and with all of their choices. Families feel cared for, prepared and supported through pregnancy and in their birth with Rachel by their side.

Rachel is a natural caretaker and her passion for doula work sparked during her pregnancy with her second child. Having always been captivated by pregnancy and birth, Rachel sought a way to remain actively involved in this transformative space beyond her own birthing experiences. She feels honored that she is able to support families through this incredible life event and this important time in their lives.

When not supporting families Rachel enjoys baking sourdough bread, cooking new meals, tending to her houseplants, attending concerts, crocheting, and exploring new restaurants. Recently, she has rekindled her love for camping.
