Meet Zina G.

Zina is a passionate certified Birth & Baby University Birth and Postpartum doula on our team.
As a birth doula, Zina supports families who give birth in all settings including hospital, birth centers and at home. She is supportive of all births and loves helping families navigate unmedicated birth and medicated birth.
As a postpartum doula, Zina supports first-time families and families welcoming a new addition into an already busy household. She supports families with daytime care, providing high-quality infant-focused care, feeding support and support with establishing healthy routines including sleep routines. She also cares for older siblings, offers meal prepping, and supports with chores including tidying up the household, laundry and organizing.
Prior to finding her passion in Doula work, Zina worked as a school counselor for 8 years, was a substitute assistant teacher at a children’s learning daycare, and spent over 17 years as an educator in various settings, including the Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Chicago public schools, and a therapeutic day school.
Families would describe her as encouraging, organized, kind, funny, and empowering. They feel that they are being provided with well-rounded care and that their needs are being met with proactive support.
When Zina isn’t supporting birth and postpartum families, you can find her reading, journaling, going to the beach, hanging out with her two cats, and spending time with friends.
