Birth Doula Support
$1,850Pregnancy support, one prenatal visit, labor and birth support, one postpartum follow-up visit, and access to virtual self-paced classes.
Daytime Postpartum Support
$45/hrNewborn care, feeding support, recovery support, light household help, meal prep, sibling support, and practical guidance.
Overnight Newborn Care
$45-$52/hrOvernight care so parents can rest, with support for feeding routines, diapering, soothing, tracking, and light household tasks.
Live-In Newborn Care
$45-$55/hrFull-time newborn and family support in the first days, weeks, or months after baby arrives.

A quick note about insurance and workplace benefits
Chicago Family Doulas is a private, self-pay agency. Families pay Chicago Family Doulas directly, and many clients then submit paid invoices to their insurance carrier or workplace benefit provider for possible reimbursement.
We do not bill insurance directly and we do not accept Medicaid.
If you have Carrot, Maven, Progyny, or another workplace benefit, please include that in the form below so our team can guide you appropriately.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and coverage varies by plan.

Do you accept insurance?
Chicago Family Doulas does not bill insurance directly. Many clients pay us directly and then submit paid invoices to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement.
Do you accept Medicaid?
At this time, Chicago Family Doulas is not eligible for Medicaid coverage.
Can I use Carrot, Maven, Progyny, or another workplace benefit?
Yes. We proudly support families using workplace benefits. Please include your benefit information in the intake form so our team can guide you.
How much does support cost?
Birth doula support is $1,850. Daytime postpartum support starts at $45/hr. Overnight newborn care ranges from $45-$52/hr, and live-in care ranges from $45-$55/hr.

What if my baby has already arrived?
Please reach out. Chicago Family Doulas can often support families quickly after baby arrives, depending on your needs and doula availability.
