Meet Ellie

Ellie is a postpartum doula on our team who trained through International Doula Institute. She specializes in supporting families with singletons, multiples, families who speak ESL (English as a second language), and families with disabilities or health issues.

Before becoming a doula, Ellie spent 12 years working with babies, toddlers and children in multiple settings, including at a daycare and an early intervention clinic. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science with a minor in Disability and Human Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In her free time, Ellie enjoys creative pursuits such as writing, playing guitar, and cooking new dishes. She likes all animals, cats in particular. A Chicago native, she also enjoys visiting many different areas of the city.
