Meet Natalie P.
Natalie is a Doula Trainings International (DTI) trained birth doula on our team. She supports families in all settings including hospital, home and birth center births. She also supports both medicated and unmedicated births. Families describe her as having a very calm and grounding presence, they feel comfortable opening up to her which makes their birth experience more positive. She excels at helping families slow down, stay calm and grounded, all while offering a strong presence when things feel chaotic.
Natalie became a doula because she loves working with individuals and families to support them in transitional periods, specifically reproductive transitions that can be so vulnerable and life-changing. Prior to doula work, she was a perinatal yoga instructor and integrative health coach. She also has a master’s degree with a specific focus in reproductive and perinatal health. Her passion is maternal health and well being.
After working with clients as a perinatal yoga instructor, she enjoyed holding space for people to explore their body’s needs and prepare physically and emotionally for labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. As a birth doula, she supports families in having connected and empowered birthing experiences. She believes everyone deserves support during this time and is honored to provide that support.
When Natalie isn’t supporting families, she loves being outside in nature. Any chance she gets to swim in a lake, hike in the mountains, or soak up a park, she’ll take it. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, and thrift shopping!
